The following letters of recommendation were submitted to GI Construction upon completion of the referenced projects. These letters have not been altered in anyway and reflect the actual experience of the individual homeowner.

We recently purchased a new home with an extremely small "dirt" backyard and through the design and detail of GI Pools we now have a little piece of paradise. 		Jay, I apologize ahead of time for not expressing our gratitude sooner for a job well done. The words "well done" of course don't come close to how we feel about our "new" yard and room addition. We are completely ecstatic about our home. Everyday we wonder why we waited so long to do these improvements. We know now why - we had to have the perfect people from the perfect company doing it. We had heard several “horror” stories from friends and family over the years. 		When Shari and I looked for a new house in Stevenson Ranch, we looked for a lot where we could build a pool. We found a right-sized lot and spent nearly a year dreaming up ideas about what we wanted. We interviewed many pool contractors in Santa Clarita, and they had their own ideas about what we should build. After hearing all sorts of explanations about how difficult our ideas would be to execute, and about how expensive and unrealistic our ideas were, my wife and I agreed to compromise our dream design, lowered our expectations, and signed a contract with a different pool vendor. After sleeping on it for a night, we cancelled that contract, because it was for a pool we really did not want. Thank goodness we did that, because we found GI Construction! Not only did they build the pool exactly as we wanted it, they did it for about the same ball-park price as the other contractor's plan that was full of so called money-saving compromises. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't cheap, but what GI did for us was deliver the pool of our dreams, at a fair value. The construction process was very satisfying. GI and their sub-contractors showed up when they said they would, and did what they said they would do. The work was of high quality, and the project moved along at a great pace, considering that we were building during the rainy season. The work crews returned each day until the stage they were working on was done. Hector and his masonry guys took a lot of pride in what they did, and they were not satisfied until I was happy. Beginning with you from the start you were so nice, honest, down to earth and to the point. There were no “surprises” in change of price or anything from you or your whole crew. Everyone was so nice, respectful, hardworking, and took pride in the quality of workmanship on the job to every detail there was. You were done quicker than scheduled which was amazing given it was not a long process anyways. It was nice to see the crew once they started, they were here till they finished. And everyday there was progress. We felt you all cared about every detail done as much as we did. We have never met a contractor like you! Since this was our first pool project we did not know what to expect. All we heard were horror stories yet that was exactly the opposite of what we received. We had another company build a pool for us a few years ago, and our experience with you far exceeds what we received from them in quality, communication, design, and features. Nearly every call to you was answered immediately, and if we left a message, you always returned calls promptly. We want to thank the GI Construction team for our beautiful pool and backyard. We spent considerable time interviewing contractors and doing research for our backyard project. Jay, Britton and Hector have an excellent reputation.
Our choice paid off when a poorly timed rainstorm made a mess of things. Where some contractors might have walked away, the GI team didn't skip a beat. In fact, our pool was finished ahead of schedule.
We rarely called Britton since he was here nearly every day making helpful suggestions. We were very anxious to have our pool completed as soon as possible and we were very pleasantly surprised that you finished ahead of schedule. One of our neighbors who used a different company, started construction on their pool before you started on ours. As of this writing, they are still in construction. All of the subcontractors you sent were very courteous and most importantly, took the time to clean up after themselves.
